Thanks for all of your calls/emails/prayers, just wanted to let everyone know that I'm ok and safe, definitely shaken up and a bit freaked out about the consquences of this on our lives and for our country.

My work and apartment are in mid-town, west side of NY,so it's pretty far removed from the center of the disaster. Still reeling from disbelief/shock/horror, and not able to believe that this is truly happening. I feel like our world has been turned upside down, and the peace and prosperity that we've enjoyed in our short lifetime is fast disappearing.

My biggest fear, and I'm sure this has been in everyone's mind, is that this will initiate a cycle of retaliation, more death, and eventually all out war, and I can't help feeling like our "normal" lives are doomed and changed forever, but at the same time, I think it's important to just keep living life as best you can.

Hopefully everyone has been able to contact their family/friends in NY, we will keep them in our thoughts and prayers in the days to come.
